After a pretty challenging week, I've decided to treat myself to some new additions to my horror game collection! There's nothing quite like unwinding with a good psychological thriller or a tense survival horror title. I'm looking for something that offers a really immersive experience, perhaps a game that's known for its atmosphere or unique mechanics. What are some of your personal favorites that you would recommend for someone looking to truly escape into a terrifying world, even for just a few hours? I'm open to both indie gems and AAA titles.

Had almost the same experience a couple months ago.
